We like to do good together, as a team, so that we can strengthen our bond and our shared values.
“Casuta Bucuriei” (House of Joy) Children’s Home is a non-profit organization, offering residential services for children, located in Cluj-Napoca. They create a family environment for 10 girls and boys, where they can develop their skills, have access to education, and find their passion through different activities, such as arts, sports, education, sightseeing, camps, etc.
This alternative to the state’s care system is a very effective way for the children to learn, to have fun, and to appreciate being in a beautiful place with people who care for them deeply. We looked at different ways to contribute and decided to support them with a donation because, as one of the volunteers stated, a story can only have a happy ending if the main character successfully overcomes all the difficulties placed ahead.

Yuppi Camp has been one of the causes dearests to us over the years. The purpose of the Complementary Therapy Camps organized by Yuppi is to give children battling diabetes, autoimmune, and oncology disorders the possibility to enjoy a full life through experiential therapy.
Every year we either donate or organize events to raise money for this cause. We’ve organized Bake Sales with all the proceeds donated to Yuppi. This is an occasion for our team members to show off their cooking skills, and prepare delicious meals, baked cookies, and sweets which are then sold internally for donations.

For the 6th year in a row, our warmhearted team participated in the Walking Month competition. This time, the raised money was redirected to help 𝟐𝟎𝟎 children from disadvantaged backgrounds gain access to sports activities.
The Walking Month competition is raising money for a different cause each year, like the purchase of the first social ambulance for the rural area of Cluj, or Lamont Sports Club that enables people with disabilities to have a healthy and active life through sport. The walkers receive step-counting wristbands from Wirtek and challenge themselves to make as many steps as possible during one month.
