Wirtek’s internship is a successful program that aims to put students in direct contact with our company. This will help them develop their skills and for Wirtek to identify potential future colleagues with a strong skillset. During our 2014 internships we ended up hiring four of the interns.
We have a very good collaboration with the two large universities Babes-Bolyai and Technical University which have a tradition of developing future programmers with excellent technical skills. During 2015 we will have in total three internship programs, each lasting 6 weeks. We expect the internship program this summer will be a great succes since the number of applicants exceeded our expectations. Here are some statistics:
- More than 200 candidates,
- 6 Open Days events organized to better know each other
- 174 candidates for technical selection
- 18 candidates on the short list
- 7 interns selected
After the internship program ends we will offer employment to the most skilled candidates which best fit our culture and way of working.
