Wirtek's Board of Directors has appointed Aurora Pestesan as new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The expansion of the Executive Management team is anchored In the Accelerate25 strategy and a wish of strengthening the Leadership. The appointment concludes the search process for a CFO as previously communicated (see company announcement no. 15/2021).
Intensive knowledge from international banking

Aurora Pestesan comes from a senior position at Deutsche Bank and has spent several years in international banking, insurance, and corporations across Europe and in the US. Central in her career has been senior responsibility for implementation of processes and systems within financial planning, risk management, controlling, and reporting of financials to top management, leading teams across multiple national entities. Prior to her position at Deutsche Bank, Aurora was heading an international team at BNP Paribas, standardizing and optimizing processes and IFRS reporting aligned with the individual business leaders' growth plans and operational processes. Aurora Pestesan is a Romanian citizen, and she will be based at Wirtek's Bucharest office.
